Birendra Open Source Club (BOSC) organized a two-day event called “Getting Started With Git and GitHub” on 28th and 29th Asar 2080BS at Birendra Multiple Campus, Nau Bigha. Details of the event are briefly documented below:

Getting Started With Git & GitHub Day 1

Especially designed for absolute beginners. In this event there were more than 40 students, students got to know about CLI, basic commands of CLI using Git Bash, version control system, Git, basic commands of Git. Attendees completed certain kind of task structured by our remarkable mentor Mr. Aakash Poudel. Day 1 event went very fruitful, attendees gained good confidence in the above topics.

Getting Started With Git & GitHub Day 2 (Final day)

Day 2 was packed with CLI and Git greatness! Our participants leveled up their skills as they dived into the world of command-line interfaces, mastering essential commands and discovering the art of efficient version control with Git. They also explored the basics of remote repositories and GitHub, unlocking new avenues for collaboration. Huge thanks to our incredible mentor Mr Bibek Chalise for contributing his valuable time and skill for the sake of the open source community. The excitement and progress throughout the event have been truly inspiring.
